Title: Tank Swap Post by: Skyshadow on January 02, 2012, 02:41:00 PM Looking to swap the stock tank on my '01 750 dark with one from a different bike. I like the lines on the Streetfighters and GT Sport Classic. Does anyone know what tanks will fit my bike or what i would have to do to get say like a 999 tank to fit?
Title: Re: Tank Swap Post by: Raux on January 03, 2012, 01:27:38 AM Take a look at the California Cycleworks track tanks for Monsters... well as soon as they get their website fixed [bang]
Title: Re: Tank Swap Post by: Skyshadow on January 03, 2012, 01:18:27 PM I'm guessing it's not fixed yet cause I searched their site and no tanks came up
Title: Re: Tank Swap Post by: Raux on January 03, 2012, 09:17:49 PM Look at their sponsor section for the info

Thanks for showing me that.
Title: Re: Tank Swap Post by: Goat_Herder on January 05, 2012, 02:16:12 PM This is a Monster SBK that belonged to a member here (if memory serves me correctly). Pretty sweet setup for a 2-valve SBK. [thumbsup]

Title: Re: Tank Swap Post by: stopintime on January 12, 2012, 03:26:39 AM Candace, Are these new tanks paintable? If she's not here.... no, they are not, absolutely not. Title: Re: Tank Swap Post by: CannedIce on January 13, 2012, 03:38:48 PM Candace, Are these new tanks paintable? Chris is doing more research to try and get them to be paintable. At the moment, they come in colors because paint does not stick to it well enough due to the gas fumes. Thanks, Candice |
