Carbon is easy to work on, but plastic.....  [bow_down]
Do you know how?

Looks like very patient work with a dremel.
Perhaps a jewelers saw and then a dremel to finish.

Dremel cuts won't be that straight  ???
If you have an opportunity - ask him - I want to learn [thumbsup]

piece-o-cake...................as long as you've got one of these...........
Water Jet Cutting (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crgujRcyhhE&feature=related#)
pretty common in manufacturing these days.
even Jay Leno's got one.
i'd run down and buy one but I don't have the room  ;D

Definitely done by hand, as the cuts aren't *exactly* straight.
I'll ask the owner.

Is the owner gonna leave them skeletonized.. or put plexi or lexan behind it ?

Please do ask because I've been wanting to try this. I run open belts now.
I've got 2 sets of covers so I can afford to
f**k up customize one of them.

				Impressive!!  [thumbsup]

Owner said he drilled *lots* of holes, used a dremel and a file to finish.
Sounded like it took a long time, I'd believe it.

most hand work does

crazy "good" "hand" work done on the cover.  I used a dremel on my front sprocket cover to cut the slots open.  I can't even get the 3-5 inch cut straight....

				Isn't that what winter's for?
