Title: help identifying rearsets Post by: JoeP on January 03, 2012, 11:42:37 AM I just got this bike a month ago and can't seem to identify the rearsets. Any ideas? Also, if you look closely at the pic, you'll see some venting hoses running down near the pipes just in front of the rear wheel. Should I reroute these? I'm worried that whatever is coming out of them might make a slippery mess for the rear wheel, and that the hoses are getting melted by the pipes. New to motorcycles, so any help is appreciated.

They are usually routed between the stock rearsets and engine block - just outside the pipes. You can put a bolt in one of the no-longer-in-use holes on your engine block and secure the hoses to it. Leave enough slack in the hoses to allow the tank to be lifted without pinching/stretching the hoses. I rerouted them inside the swingarm and away from the pipes where they were getting fried.
