Anyone know what it is? the RaceTech calculator said I need 0.850 but I'm curious how much mine is now cause it's super squishy. Would like to know the difference before I drop $109
.85 works great if you're in the 180 lb range without gear.
I'm 165 without gear, But what's the stock set up?
The stock springs are dual-rate, something like 0.6/0.8, crossover is at about half-travel.
Gnarly, thanks for the info. Definitely buying new springs. My nose dives when i hit the corners
Make sure which forks you have, Marzocchi or Showa. I ran into a problem when I bought new springs for my '00 M750. Racetech was great about making it right tho. :)
I have an S2R 800. The stock springs from an S4 are about that value. They will work perfect for your bike and you can get them for pretty cheap.
You Should have showa. I believe Marzocchi's didnt rear their ugly head until the 695 / S2R era. 620's 750's and 900's all had showa from what I remember.
How do I check which ones I have, they have no badges on them...

Your '01 750 came out ff the factory with non adjustable Showas. To confirm they will say Showa on the inside of the fork leg.
^Roger, thanks
