did somebody use mikuni TM40 pumper carb on monster engine, mine is 900cc . I was read in another forums people use them and the performance is quite as fcr. so can it work for ducati too? I saw some in ebay for around 130$ ,unfortunately from 2 stroke engine ,whats the deal to make it work for 4 stroke engine? Another question ,I saw pictures on tm40 ,and they are mounted in vertical position ,is it a problem as ducati carbs are mounted by angle?

2 stroke carbs don't have accelerator pumps.
you can buy cheap carbs and spend a lot of time and money mounting and tuning them or buy fcr. depends what you like doing.
too bad , it was too good to be true...
well can I made keihin CVK swap? I read that they work better than our 38mm mikunis. There are CVK40mm ,will be ok on mine engine ,it's stock.
I can find used 4 cvks here from some kawasaki or something. Does someone use keihin cvk on monster? My mikuni has broken diaphragm ,it will be cheaper doing this swap ,instead of buying new diaphragms. Come on I will appreciate all of the info about this problem ,thanks!
By the time you do all the tuning to make any other carb work, besides FCR's...
it will be cheaper/faster to just buy diaphragms...
If you have a dyno, fabricating skills, and like to tune and you don't value your time then go for it.
Maybe a set of used Mikuni's for parts would be the least expensive solution
I agree with you about the easiest way .
I just asked if anyone has the experience with this swap. thanks
Good luck.
