I'm guessing the suspension wasn't torqued to spec and a little drop of Loc-Tite does wonders. Overall the guy is retarded lucky. Open top car, improper harness attachment points, no arm restraints, weak "roll bar". Perhaps if he makes another go at it there will be less in the motor and more in safety.
