Title: s2r gauges
Post by: tilt on January 30, 2012, 01:23:57 PM
Has anyone pulled these apart yet?  I am going to give it a shot here pretty soon to fix the speedo needle, it slipped and is sitting at about 100mph.  Im just wondering if I am opening up a can of worms.

They come open fairly easily - just be careful with the rubber seal on reassembly.

Darkducati wrote a nice tutorial about opening the gauges cluster, in his case for the tacho but essentially the same. Good luck.

i'd swing that needle over to about 162 and leave it there!  [thumbsup]

i actually got a pic of it while i was riding where it said 155, i posted it up on my buddies page and called out due to the reflection of my face in the gauges not being stretched out from ear to ear.
