Hi guys its me again, after fixing my electrical problem i found out that the front forks are bent, i was wondering if there is a way they can be fixed or get forks from another non ducati bike, or where to buy an afordable one, thanks
Model and year, please.
It's usually not easy to repair, but used replacements can be affordable.
Some people take advantage of the situation and upgrade...
is a 2001 ducati monster 600
Fork from a 600, 620, 750 and S2R 800 will be the same (low quality) item.
900, 1000, S2R 1000 forks will be better and not too expensive.
This is taken off the top of my head and I'm not as deep into this as you'd like, to trust me completely.
Double check [thumbsup]
Where are you located?
tucson az, it seems like one side is bad the other one is good, can u just replace a column
If a (or both) fork leg(s) are bent, usually the triple clamps are bent.
Hard to confirm without a straight set of forks, but give the triple clamps a good look-over.
i have a pair of LOW mileage S2R800 forks that will bolt right on. same exact forks that came stock on your bike. not the BEST, but they certainly work.
they're yours for the price of shipping.
if you were on the east coast, or at least this HALF of the country... i'd offer them for free...
