Hi All,
I have two vents coming out the bottom of the tank on my '94 M900.
I'm guessing one is overflow and one is a vent, so I'm guessing I can splice the overflow into the carb overflow, and leave the vent alone. Is this true?
Am I able to splice these both into a single hose?

If you have no charcoal canister you van use a Y connector and splice them together.
Excellent. And I can splice them into the carb overflow?
If you do, it may complicate removing or lifting the tank.
tank overflow is non-pressurized
putting it onto the carb return will pressurize it in the wrong direction.
the vent hose should just hang loose.
I took the charcoal canister off (Howley is in Oz right? No canister there) and ran both below the bike.

Usually there is a sticker on the bottom of the tank showing the orientation. I don't have that bike so i can't tell, but usually the one nearest the rear is the vapor line and the one towards the front is the overflow.

Pretty sure the overflow/cap area drain is the one closest to the outside of the tank.
I'm not recommending this, but now I'm curious. In the process of putting in my FCR's, I for some reason removed both those hoses. I haven't experienced any ill effects, am I just lucky or is it not a big deal?

The job of the hoses is to keep fuel from dumping on your engine if you spill while fueling or fuel comes out of the vent hose from expansion. No overfolw or expansion, no problem, but...

Gotcha, I'll be careful and not top it off completely... or find some hoses that fit
Correct howie and ducatiz.. I blew into the outer-most outlet, air came out the overflow drain.

This is my scenario (FCRs and removed hoses) but I'm going to reinstall the vent and overflow hoses. Btw - what size are these hoses?
