Title: Rear sprocket choices for a 696 Post by: Link on February 14, 2012, 06:49:42 PM Hi guy's I'm looking to replace rear sprocket & chain and was looking for opinions on some of the different sprockets made for the 696 I found Supersprox, Driven, AFAM & Vortex all make them for the 696. I'm not sure if any one else is making sprockets for the 696. Any info. will be appreciated.

Driven steel sprockets are a good choice for lower cost. I've used Vortex & AFAM in the past both real good quality but not much to look at.

(I always like to shave weight where I can) FYI for anybody looking, Vortex is now making rear sprockets for the 696 but you have to call them as there not on there web site yet. I'm prob. going to go SuperSprox as I like the gold color. Votex is great quality and tough for alum I used them on 2 race bikes and they hold real well but there only making them in red, black & blue. DID gold chain with black & gold sprocket look great. |
