Title: Trouble removing rear exhaust header on 2005 s4r
Post by: George S on February 16, 2012, 03:23:42 PM
There doesn't seem to be enough room in that small space within the frame to get to those 3 bolts securing the exhaust header. One of the bolts' position in relation to the pipe, prevents me from getting a rachet on there if I had all the room in the world! Anyway, any help/advice for removing this piece will be greatly appreciated. And in case it makes a difference: my exhaust system is Arrow, not OEM. Provided I get this last piece off, I'm gonna have the system ceramic coated.

Cheers!
George

Altho I know zilch about your 'bike it sounds that you don't have the right tool. A ring spanner with some angles or bends would probly do the trick if a socket and ratchet handle won't.

Thanks for the advice. I'll pick up a set of those and see if they help.
