I went there every year for weeks at a time on surf trips in the early 90's and it was sketchy then. They would shake us down for a few bucks here and there. Now your gambling with your life, with bad odds, every time you cross that border. One of the last places on Earth I would spend any of my income.

A friend has been after me to do an offroad car trip with an outfit called wide open Ensenada or some such. He's done it a couple of times with no probs, but you're giving me 2nd thoughts.
