My stock fuel pump is going out so I want to go electric. I am a little confused though, how much PSI does the new pump need to pull? Any suggestions on pumps you guys know would work?
3 PSI will do it.
Thats what I figured but I cant find one that pushes less then 5-9psi

I know delco makes one...I have it on my tractor as a diesel transfer. I buy them at my local auto parts store. Thy're way more expensive.
^ Awesome, Thanks
Ordered that electric pump, mounted it and I'm currently running it. Seems to be working good. Thanks. kind of bulky though...

describe bulky
Well it comes with some screen filter or something that screws in to the inlet side and makes the filter like 8" long. It goes from the left side of my engine, all the was thru my frame and sticks out the right side. I can probably fab up a way to conceal it better but would be nice if that screen thing was gone.
Just get a nipple to replace that long filter and use the stock filter.

what he said. ;D
Is that a filter or just a screen? I blew through it and it put up very little resistance. The nipple idea was on my list of to-do's

It's probably a screen like on an in tank pump to protect it from debris.
As long as the filter is upstream from the pump you don't need that item.
