Title: Re: Totally cool Post by: Lars D on March 11, 2012, 03:06:02 AM I have always wanted an X1/9 , but stock they are nothing like that.
Any more info on what the hell they did to that . I noticed a Suzuki "S" on the back. Title: Re: Totally cool Post by: ab on March 11, 2012, 04:20:45 AM ohhh seeing the fiat 127 and 600's made my day .... (growing up my parents had 127 and 600 )

I think it was metallic green. It reminded me of the Triumph TR7, which was one of my favourite cars as a youngster.

Title: Re: Totally cool Post by: Moto Motivo on March 11, 2012, 08:19:14 AM I owned a Fiat X1/9 1300 in the 80's. Nice little car, but under powered. The X1/9 in the video is running a Suzuki GSXR1100 motor. They ran a Kawasaki 1100 before that, b ut the Suzuki makes more power. Small cars with high power bike motors are very popular in European short track racing and hill climbs in the 1000 - 1300 cc class.
How about this Fiat 600 with a Hayabusa 1300 motor!: 600 proto donuts motor hayabusa (http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=fADzBNK1vmU#) Title: Re: Totally cool Post by: ab on March 11, 2012, 11:09:02 AM So were the Fiat models named differently in the U.S.?
I knew the different models of Fiat growing up as Fiat 126, 131 , 132 , 127, 600 and 124. I really need to find a die-cast model. Title: Re: Totally cool Post by: uclabiker06 on March 11, 2012, 02:04:37 PM I don't know but they all seem heavily modified & totally cool [thumbsup]
Title: Re: Totally cool Post by: the_Journeyman on March 12, 2012, 05:59:10 PM A girl at my high school had one. It was stock though, and had more than a couple reliability issues.
