Title: Dented Wheels? Post by: thurmanjr7 on March 13, 2012, 11:03:55 AM So the other day I'm giving my bike a bit of TLC but when I get to the back wheel I see a very large what looks to be a case dent. It's sizable enough to seem to be letting a very small amount of air. (as in I have to take it from 25psi to 35 psi) When I examined the front I noticed there is a much smaller but still noticeable dent in the front as well. This one doesn't seem to be causing any issues at all. Has anyone else had this problem with their wheels? Do you know what caused? And mostly importantly what is the easiest fix?

Hit a pothole with your tire underinflated, and voila! Dented rim! There are shops that straighten rims, IIRC there was a recent thread, try the 'search' button. Title: Re: Dented Wheels? I have nothing to do with this company .just trying to pass along a good experience.
