Title: The official "Where do you park your bike at work" thread

I've been thinking about having a thread like this for some time now.

See it back there?  I get to admire it all day.

One of my "special privledge" customers.  He has a 999R and a handful of other bikes.

I leave mine out in the parking lot.  Did you want a photo of it next to all of the Lexus cars that everyone else drives?

There are 3 marked MC parking spots at my work.  They are all off the sidewalk right in front of the glass doors to our building. Cool thing is, there is a camera right on them the whole time. Sitting at my desk, i can get online and look at a realtime shot of my bike anytime i want.  The cameras are also set to start recording anything or anyone that gets close to the bikes.

There was a previous MC owner that was an executive here that made them allocate those spots right in front, and put a camera on them ha ha  [beer]

Better thing is, theres only one other person that rides his MC to work, so i always get front parking.  [clap]

I'm not "allowed" to ride my bike to work.  [bang] [bang] [bang] [bang]

I work for a auto manufacturer, and have a demo, so someone in my office has deemed bikes "unallowed".  [roll]

I was parking underneath the truck bay.

Until in another office one of the linemen backed his bucket truck over a gsxr. Breaking it in half.

Now the company says I have to use the normal parking lot...

I work for an Electrical Retailer running there Photo Lab which is at the main entrance, My Bike sits outside the Main Glass doors just 20 Feet away.

My Italian Mistress sits there all day calling to me "Come ride me Big boy" So every now and then I have to take the bike out at lunch time for a quick spanking  [moto]

I park mine under the lean-to that covers all the sand filters outside our wetlab building. That might sound like an inhospitable place, but it has plenty of room, and stays in the shade all day.  [thumbsup]

View from my current office:

Although it can really vary, as I am out visiting clients a lot.  My least favorite is pay garages where you have to display the receipt on your dash...doesnt work so well for me.

We have a designated area just outside the guard office. It used to be a fairly small area, but over the last six years, its doubled in size....and it still isn't large enough. Last week, I counted 22 bikes in that area....on the sidewalk.....in the grass.....

I think it's actually a couch! [cheeky]  Although the owner complained about a very sore ass after a 4-hour trip. [laugh]

There's a full-bling ZX-7R at the accountant's office next door - taking up the handicapped-accessible spot.  It's been in that spot each day for about two weeks.

Who votes I go kick it over?

I vote yes to kick it over. I hate when people who aren't handicapped use handicapped spots. I don't think it's possible to be any more selfish than that.

No reason to hurt a poor defenseless bike.  How about giving the owner a real reason to need a handicap spot.

I have seen people who really were disabled riding. It's possible they are using the handicapped spot legitimately.
