I've got a blown fork seal and dropping it off on Friday to have both of em replaced.

Fuel is scarce on this run. For those with short ranges, I recommend filling up when we turn off I-20 and head north in Weatherford. It is around 85 miles from there to the next stop where fuel is a sure thing. We hit a few places with only diesel on the ride. From Starbucks to the fuel stop south of Santo is 120 miles. Our bikes can do that, but it may be impossible on the 999. Let me know your ranges tomorrow and we will plan accordingly! Title: Re: RIDE Saturday 3/31 Post by: Cher on March 31, 2012, 04:32:56 AM In fact 120 miles would be impossible on the 999 as I ran it dry at 104 miles :o Not sure wassup with that but something ain't right as my fuel light would come on at 120, then be completely out by 145... Oh well, doesn't matter today because I'm riding the 955 Daytona; waiting on front brake pad for the SBK. |
