Anybody have any idea what they're called? As in the connectors used for the headlight, tail light/rear signals. I'm looking for a couple for a project. I need like a 6 pin and a 9 pin I beleiveI've heard them called AMP style but googling amp connectors gives me little to work with.
I got some from Chris @ Desmoworld (sponsor). They do seem to be hard to source.
I believe you're talking about the AMP Superseal see product spec here (http://www.te.com/commerce/DocumentDelivery/DDEController?Action=showdoc&DocId=Specification+Or+Standard%7F108-20090%7FC2%7Fpdf%7FEnglish%7FENG_SS_108-20090_C2.pdf). I work for TE Connectivity, the company that is now the larger corporation that includes the old AMP. I can tell you that we do not sell retail. The average joe will need to find products at our distributors. Typically google searching part numbers will help you find a distributor.
Though automotive connectors is not my area of expertise, I can assist anyone in gathering info on products. But no I cannot sell them.
Update:
here (http://www.te.com/catalog/products/en?n=105849&q=superseal) is our catalog page for the AMP Superseal.

I believe I have a handle on getting Molex connectors local. They're not waterproof but electrical tape can fix that. Just wrap them up real good. I'm keeping my options open. After wiring in a motogadget product, I'd rather do it with connectors as it would be more serviceable and a lot more tidy. Thanks guys for your help.
