Title: GPR Exhaust Systems Post by: Red5 on June 24, 2008, 10:30:52 AM Does anyone have the contact info for GPR's US distributor, or know if they even have a distributor here in the states?
I'm trying to get a replacement part for the GPR exhaust system on my bike. Their website is in italian only. Sent an email but no reply yet. Did a google search and called around, but the US vendors (Oncycles is the only active one I know of) says to refer directly to the company. How are those GPR systems? Sound? Quality?

Title: Re: GPR Exhaust Systems Post by: Blake on June 25, 2008, 09:43:15 PM Bought my S2R 800 used and the previous owner just installed the full titanium GPR exhaust before he sold it. I'd never heard of GPR before (really wanted the Arrow setup), but the GPR's sound really good and look great. With a full tail chop, they might extend too far beyond the saddle, but w/ my kind of half chop, they look pretty nice.
Later Blake Title: Re: GPR Exhaust Systems Post by: felice on June 26, 2008, 08:02:21 AM I have the titanium low mounts and I love 'em. But I agree that they would extend too long if you chopped the tail.
When I was buying them from oncycles a while back I tried to find out who their distributor in the states was, and it turned out to be....oncycles. I also emailed GPR at that time, and I never got a reply. Maybe translate your message into Italian (freetranslation.com) and you'll get a reply! There are a couple of videos on youtube if anyone wants to hear how they sound. Yes, it does seem like Oncycles is the sole vendor of their stuff here in the states, and what they have is all on close-out. I've already spoken with them, and it was Pedro (?) in their cust. service dept. who referred me directly to the company. I didn't think about translating my outgoing question to GPR in italian; that's a good idea 'cause they haven't replied back yet. The original intent of my post was to reach someone so I could get a replacement cannister hanger instead of having to fabricate something up. The current bracket on my bike snapped at where it attaches to the subframe. Looks like I'll have to do some welding now. As far as the questions on their quality and sound... I'll give them a thumbs up. The welding is comparable to other brands costing more. Sound is great, nice and throaty. I have the full titantium syst. on my cbr600rr FWIW.
