Title: Front wheel grab/pop while riding in the rain
Post by: dark_duc on April 11, 2012, 05:13:47 PM
I got caught in a very hard rain on the way home from work today and there was a lot of standing water/puddles.  I managed the best I could but noticed when I got off the highway and in stop and go traffic I started feeling a very subtle "pop" or bind that I could feel up front. It seemed to happen while slowing to a stop, or accelerating slowly from a stop and at very low speed (between 0 -15 mph).  It seemed to come and go on severity but almost concerned me enough to stop for fear my brakes were about to lock up or something.  I gave everything a look when I got home and nothing jumped out at me.  Have any of you heavy rain riders experienced something similar?

rocks or sand bits that land on the rotor and dont get washed off and then hit your brake pads and vibrates through your handlebar. or something to that effect. lots of stuff in those standing puddles.
