Title: Victory demo tour
Post by: Dirty Duc on April 15, 2012, 09:52:42 PM
I'm all about spending other people's money, so today I went and rode bikes on somebody else's dime.  Supposedly the "Judge" is the favorite of the "sport-bike guys," but I found it to be a terrible beast with pegs (and hard parts) that wanted to touch the ground like I want to go fast.  My wife said the seat is less comfortable than the monster pillion...

The Hard-ball was nice except for the ape-hangers.

Well, it turns out Victory is only selling two motorcycles, and one engine.  All their "cruiser" models are the same frame with different tire/paint options, and all their "tour" models have suspension and bag/windshield options.

[cheeky] I'll take a Monster... my wife wants a V-strom for me to ride.

Gotta love those free demo rides.Best to go last if you are on a group demo ride because you don't know the ability of the person behind you and I have seen an accident where one rider ran into another while trying to stop. :o

yeah, I saw someone almost do that.

I also hate riding next to cars on the open road, and this guy a few bikes in front of me matched speed with the first RV in a convoy while the lead part of the group rode at a normal speed away from him.
