Title: Speedymoto Framesliders for 695
Post by: Wonked on June 24, 2008, 07:04:01 PM
I just installed some speedymoto frame sliders on my 695 and I'm disappointed that the base of the sliders sticks out about two inches from the frame of the bike, revealing the gold engine-mount bolt. Did I do it correctly? Is this normal??

Yep, Thats normal, don't like em, but I have them to allow for the "Dickhead Factor" My bike is parked near the main entrance where I work, People can't help but touch and have a look (No one has tried to jump on yet) I'd rather have the ugly things on there to protect it from a fall then imagine the damage without them.
Nothing worse than a bike written off from a simple fall over.  :P
