At low revs i can hear something rattling in the front of the bike not sure what it is i was thinking it was my keychain but holding it doesn't make the noise stop while riding. While stopped i checked my front fender and seems to be a little loose, i checked the bolts on it and all are tight. Can someone else with a last gen monster check if their front fender is tight or moves a little ?
Thanks
OK, mine's snug, just a slight give in the plastic. Are the brake lines attached snugly? Clip and screw in place? Take another look. Possibly you hit something and it's cracked or broken?
My fender just flexes a little. You are supoust to have inside the holes little white plastic washers. Check to see if those are there. And if not that will make the fender rattle.
Yea I checked a few other monsters and they are all pretty tight. Spoke with dealer and going in for that on Saturday

Did you ever find the source of the noise?
I have a similar sound, just like you describe, but the obvious one, holding the key, doesn't make any difference.
floating disc button rattle?

They all feel tight, the noise is when you are riding, so I'm not sure if you would hear the disc buttons anyway.
It seems to be at certain revs too, some sort of resonance?
It sounds like it is coming from the key area, but noises are very hard to pin point with so many other things going on. 8)
I found the problem, it was the front fender that wasn't attached properly it was missing some rubber rings that are installed in the factory. The Duc dealership replaced them for me and now i no longer get the noise. Feels so much better now because before i would rev higher all the time so i wouldn't hear the noise, but now the bike sounds smoother
I think I have found where my noise was originating.
The throttle cable runs along the black air box (or fuel tank) at the front right hand side. This is vibrating at specific rpms, on the plastic. I wedged part of the fabric covered wiring loom under the cable and the noise has gone.... [clap]
