Title: Talk Triumph Adventurer 900 to me Post by: Slide Panda on April 30, 2012, 08:49:33 AM Anyone know about these bikes? There's a 96 for sale locally for cheap. Appears to be in present condition - at least cosmetically. Wife did her brc and is interested in a smaller cruiser. This might be fitting the bill.

Damn good bikes with bombproof mechanicals and high build quality. Fit an AGM battery if you get the bike,as it will improve starting immeasurably, and will avoid any sprag clutch issues. Ride and handling are good, and the engine is a peach! These bikes were competition for the HD Sportster, and they beat them in every department. Let us know how you get on!

The one fitted to my wife's bike spins it over like a top. It is a Westco brand, and is highly recommended.

We'll see what happens... I'll have to prod the wife and get a call on if I should open negotiations. Don't think this bike will stay listed long at the asking price. I had a sprint with the 955 and if the 900 is even close to being similar (and I hear it was) it will be fantastic |
