Title: Dim Sum
Post by: He Man on May 01, 2012, 01:00:51 PM
If anyone is in the area, some fellow NYMMC members would like to invite you guys out to a Dim Sum get together.

What is Dim Sum?

Dim Sum are small little appetizers that southern chinese people eat as breakfast. They are really small servings, usually $2.50-$3.00 per a small dish. Each dish has 3-4 goodies in them.

I voted for this Saturday but I can also come out the next one. The place is pretty close to my house so I won't have to travel far for this one.  :)

Yeah, sorry for missing it man, but having my front brake lock up on the gwb was pretty bad.  I got these refurbed asv levers direct from asv this week and I think they sent the wrong plunger pin with them.  Took the brake lever off (i always knew it was a good idea to have a leatherman and a allen key set in your backpack) which got enough pressure free for me to get the bike home and got my old levers back on which work perfectly (go ebay levers).  Clutch was slipping too which leads me to believe the plunger pins are too long.

Going to contact ASV about this and see what they say.  Hopefully they'll feel bad about it and send me a new set of levers instead of just new plunger pins. haha

The dim sum was pretty good at that place right?

And yeah... I was lucky because there was some traffic on the bridge so it locked up at a pretty low speed, didnt skid at all.  Could have been a lot worse... was def a bit of a pucker moment for me. haha
