Title: M900 Givi wingrack Post by: Nottsbiker on May 02, 2012, 04:36:40 AM Hi Alll,
I've managed to get me a new Givi wingrack fitting kit on ebay UK for the princely sum of £5 [beer] Only slight issue is that the tail chop I'm planning on doing is slightly complicated by the fact that rear mount brackets for the Givi set-up attach to the beer tray section of frame - easily solved by adding some dowels into the frame and refitting it as and when required. What I'd like to know if anyone has fitted this kit to their Monster yet, and how you get on with it when touring as I only intend on using the box for holidays / weekend camps etc as the bike will be far too stylish to keep it on 24/7 8) I havent sourced a rack and box yet - are these universal or do I need a specific set-up for the M900 even though I've got the specific side rails?? Cheers - Ben [thumbsup] PS just noticed the 'gear' section - doh! It mounts different though so it worked fine with the tail chop

I've emailed Givi as they no linger list anything for the M900 on their site as I'd line to see what I need so I can look for the bits on Ebay ;) |
