Title: Slip-ons vs Full exhaust system monster 796 Post by: chaldoking on May 04, 2012, 05:57:59 AM I have a 2011 monster 796 and was wanting to upgrade my exhaust system. I was wondering if there was a big difference in performance from a full exhaust system vs a slip-on? Is the performance in the full exhaust system worth that extra $ grand or two?

are there any full systems for the small bikes? So far, what I've read is swaying me towards the Termi slip ons. I don't need any more power for commuting but I would like a little more noise so I'm more easily heard in traffic, but don't want it to be deafening.

Do I just order the Termi Carbon slip ons and they come with a new ECU? Install it and I'm good to go? A lot of the info posted is for other bikes and I want to make sure I'm looking at the right stuff for a 2011 796 ABS and my local dealer isn't sure what to get either. As far as price, how much is a reasonable price to pay for the carbons and whatever else I need to make it work? Just swap out the ECU's and you should be good to go. When you turn on your bike, the digital tach will say Ducati 796 Race instead of the regular Ducati 796.

If it does the job it's worth it. Does anybody have this system on their monster?
