Red Line? VERY good oil. My dealer uses Red Line exclusively, a carry-over from never having had a racing failure with it. Possibly this? http://www.redlineoil.com/product.aspx?pid=6&pcid=21 (http://www.redlineoil.com/product.aspx?pid=6&pcid=21)

could be...........
it never occured to me that Red Line oil was red (duhhh!)

I put in 3.5 qts of XXXXX oil. I've been using XXXXX oil for years. XXXXX oil is the best you can buy.
 ;D [evil]
(NOT gonna start an oil thread!)

In my V8's I use BG Sheer Power semi-synthetic because that's what they like. Also red, as I believe is BG MOA oil additive. BG can show you lots of engines with 300,000+ miles, clean as a whistle and hardly any scoring. Scroll down. http://www.bgprod.com/products/engineoil.html (http://www.bgprod.com/products/engineoil.html)

Klotz is red too

As is Motul 7100.  Stays red for a surprisingly long time in the motor, as well.
