Many of us knew Gary and/or had the pleasure to ride and race with him. RIP, GaryJ. May heaven be green and filled with a constant 250cc buzz. http://bayarearidersforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=401838 (http://bayarearidersforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=401838) Title: Re: RIP Gary Jaehne Post by: desmoquattro on May 19, 2012, 04:05:24 PM Heard that somewhere. Title: Re: RIP Gary Jaehne Post by: mostrobelle on May 23, 2012, 09:26:38 PM I'm generally opposed to riding and grieving. It's not a combination of things that seems like a good idea to me. And in this particular case, where they were both riders, it's just a little too close to home. I've had to sit and wait on the side of the road, at the track, and by the phone enough times with the "little" crashes that I don't ever want to know what it feels like when it's something like this. I don't even want to be around it or think about it. I honestly enjoyed the time I spent with Gary despite my not always agreeing with how he went about things. I feel horribly for his wife, and would like to support her in some other way, but I'm not doing this. I can't.
Please send my condolences her way if you choose to attend. |
