Hey all...
So riding today everything running strong, stop for a fill up and a few seconds into going my dash turns off then on then off again in a second or two, yellow light turns on and engine cuts simultaneously, as if sputtering and about to die, then everything is fine. Knowing yellow light is for ecu, I pull over shut off start again ad everything is fine. Anyone have any ideas on what would cause this? If it is loose wires I'd like to perform some preventative maint so I don't get stranded. On the other hand I do have a flashed ecu with full system and from past experience I know sometimes my idle is erratic, shutting off and restarting seems to be the ticket. Any advice is much appreciated. Bike is a 06 s2r1k with protune stage 7 flash and full exhaust, open air box etc.
