Title: DP ecu Post by: wannabfast on May 20, 2012, 02:21:21 AM can you buy the DP ecu without getting the termi kits?
more specifically i would need one for a m796 WITHOUT abs Title: Re: DP ecu Post by: ungeheuer on May 20, 2012, 04:13:50 AM Yes.
But not at a price you're gonna like. They want you to buy the entire Termi kit and so price the individual ECU accordingly. Be much less costly to have your ECU reflashed to DP spec, if thats where you wanna go. Title: Re: DP ecu Post by: Scoober1103 on May 20, 2012, 04:05:35 PM You can also source them new and second hand from various on-line auction sites and some shops but there are a couple of different models to suit the different Termi kits, Slip on and full kits so you would need to ensure you get the right one for you application.
As ungeheuer stated it may be more cost effective to re-flash yours to suit your set-up. I was lucky enough to get a DP ecu on it's own from a Termi slip-on kit as I already had after market slip-on cans on the bike when I bought it. If you buy a DP ecu on it's own it will restrict what intake options you have without further tuning equipment. Again ungeheuer is the man on this subject and there is plenty of stuff to read here!
