Title: Will a 93-99 Seat Fit on 00-08 Monster Post by: motoyoyo on May 22, 2012, 07:41:44 AM How different is the fit between the 1st generation (1993-1999) Monster and the 2nd generation (2000-2008) Monster. The seats look very similar with the exception of perhaps the seat latch and the contour at the gas tank. Anybody ever interchanged seats between these Monsters? I'm wondering if it can be done with minor modifications.

I'm actually not looking for a stock seat, but was looking at a nice Sargent seat for the older bike and was hoping I could make it fit on my S2R1000. I won't think about it any longer, thanks
