Title: Sil Moto High Mounts; Anyone have them? Post by: ajw85 on May 24, 2012, 05:25:26 PM I thought my mufflers needed to be repacked, as they were insanely loud, like have to ride with ear plugs loud. Just buttoned them up with new packing inside and they are still just as loud. Is this just how they are?

On the ear plugs - you should use them regardless of the exhaust. Just the constant wind noise on a quiet bike can slowly damage your hearing. And there's studies indicating that plugs lead to reduced fatigue over time when in a high noise environment ie riding a bike |
