So i have installed the MW clip on above the tripple with no rise for my M750.

Even when i had stock bar i do feel the rear height is a little low.  But now with clip on, I really do want to raise the rear end a bit higher.

I saw the ducatisuite tutorial and its quite easy to follow.  Do i need to mess with the front end?

Also i see others added an adjusters on top of the stock bolts set up.  My question is it necessary? Helpful in anyway?

Assuming that the M750 uses the 888 hoop style rear suspension you can buy a pair of spacers that fit between the hoop and the rose joints which attach to the swingarm.

You could also drop the forks through the yokes to lower the front end / raise the rear slightly.

Is the bike sprung for your weight? Which is? The first and most basic adjustment one does is set the sag of the bike. Given that they are not totally FUBAR adjustments to Geometry and damping come later. So start with sag and then start fussing.

yes it is hoop style rear supension.

I weight in at 170-175 (180 with gear I assumed)

I don't think the original owners (2) has done anything to the suspension.

Do you have turtorial on setting up the rear suspension?  or should I take this to the shop?

well id say with full gear it adds 10lbs.. theres ususally a collar on the spring that you spin and it can raise it up some amount, but not sure how much

I used the 20mm rear spacers....I really like the look of the "kicked up" rear.
But it does make it turn a good bit quicker....I am glad I have a steering dampner when on the freeway.

Where did the 20mm spacers come from? Based on your approximate calculations if ideally want some 10-15mm ones if you get a choice.

I got my spacers from a member here on the forum who had a 2nd set.

I have read that you can achieve about 10mm of lift by just twisting the eye bolts out?? [roll]

Follow the instructions from ducatisuite.com and you can get 10mm out of the stock setup with out spacers.

Thanks F.  I think i wont need the spacers, maybe just go with 10mm out and see how that feel and go from there.

hey @118811 -- that looks sweet! i wonder if my mechanic will be able to find spacers like that, as he has the bike now (ducati soho) and i've already asked them to raise the rear end anyway (at first i was met with a look of pity for being such a newb  [roll])

what kind of steering damper do you have? and do you think it really makes a difference?

Def...yes,
a steering damper does firm up/stabilize the front end.  After raising the rear the bike turns in much quicker and if the road or track you are on...has bumps or your suspension isn't works properly, that stability is welcomed!! [thumbsup]

the damper on my M900 is a Ducati Performance one.
