Title: starter solenoid / relay gone bad twice in two months - another problem? Post by: annguye1 on June 07, 2012, 06:08:34 AM Hey guys,
My starter solenoid went bad in April, I replaced it. Rode the bike fine for a month, went to start the bike up last week, same problem - click, no cranking from the starter motor. So, do you all know of any other issues that might cause the solenoid / relay to go bad? Title: Re: starter solenoid / relay gone bad twice in two months - another problem? did you replace the solenoid with a brand new one?...have you reached out to the vendor that sold you the solenoid for any warranty possibilities?...what bike is this on?... I am sure there is a whole host of other questions pertaining to issues surrounding this that others will think of which might possibly answer or lead to your problem... Post by: annguye1 on June 07, 2012, 07:03:44 AM thanks for the suggestion. the bike is an 05 620ie. yep it was a brand new solenoid. haven't spoken to the vendor but i'll have to check with them.
