Title: Clutch question s4r
Post by: Eldon on June 15, 2012, 05:19:41 PM
I just installed an evr 48 t basket with sintered plates and a Ssr billet clutch hub. Is it normal for it to be grippy and first , hard to put in neutral.
Thanks

Sounds like you need a bit more space when the lever is pulled. It may be possible to adjust the lever set up to push the slave a little more - but not too much as you block the return.

Other ways would be to remove a plate to sub in a thinner plate

Any possibility it has to break in I only rode it around the block.

I just changed my clutch to same setup as you. Mine was good to go from first pull on the lever. Long time since you changed your clutch fluid? Or maby bleed it?

BTW, mine is an -98 M900... :)
