He was running in the Superbike race and went wide to allow McGinnis to pass him and ended up clipping the curb and tumbling down the mountain. He ended up with 3 broken ribs but they got the bike together and he attempted a practice lap to see if he could participate in the Senior but the ribs were causing him major back pain so he called it quits.
