I'm seeking recommendations from the fine folks on this board for a auto repair shop. My SUV is Japanese & I'm in the Petaluma area but I can take it anywhere nearby (preferably) on this end of the Bay.

not sure what all you need done, but if San Rafael isn't too far, I would recommend these guys, very inexpensive/reasonable, and they do good work, ask for Phillip & tell him Shel & Jason recommended them to you
