Title: is this a fork leak?

noticed this morning on my ride into work, one side of my front forks looks like this (see picture below) the other side is clean. is this something i need to be worried about?

assuming the obvious, that something hasnt been spilt on it, id say yeah that seal isnt as tight as it once was

maybe time for a sbk fork conversion?  [evil]
but if your happy the way it handles now, it shouldnt be too big an expense to have serviced/fixed locally.

Yes, that fork seal is sacked.
Replace it before it oils up the brake pads on that side and ruins them, or worse...

I'd recommend putting in some proper springs while the forks are open.

Or go for a total upgrade.
