Title: Dynoed the s4
Post by: Nero-92 on July 03, 2012, 03:30:48 PM
Yesterday I changed the belts on the s4 took me about 1.5 hrs well cuffed with myself so today I treated it to a run on or local dyno to make sure that everything is as it should be the dyno run showed that between 5000 & 6000 and 7000 & 9000 rpm it running ever so slightly lean so a power commander is on the cards but the bike is still making 99hp pretty good for 9 year old bike me thinks hears a few pics.         (http://i1081.photobucket.com/albums/j350/Nero-92/IMG_0278.jpg)(http://i1081.photobucket.com/albums/j350/Nero-92/IMG_0280.jpg)(http://i1081.photobucket.com/albums/j350/Nero-92/IMG_0282.jpg)

thats a very smooth power curve! i wouldnt really think ud need a power commander, maybe just a little richer fuel setting on your ecu. id be happy with that  [Dolph]

almost looks a little too smooth... i wonder how much damping is on that graph? or is my bike just overly rough... haha

i wouldn't call that ever so slightly lean, i'd call it very lean.  it needs 15 to 20% more fuel for much of the range.  the trimmer does very little at wot.

Yup.  AFRs of 14:1, nudging 15:1..... I'd call that lean throughout.
