worked on my bike all night in the garage, then took it for a 1 a.m. joyride on the bronx river parkway. twisty and empty and... FCUK my new pressure plate is awesome!

i installed the EVR Progressive Engagement Pressure Plate i got from our friends at motowheels.com, along with the EVR cap and spring set from proitalia. and guess what? it really works! clutch now sounds much cleaner than before, while still retaining that ducati sewing machine sound. and it is SO MUCH SMOOTHER starting off i really was stunned. even going into second and third it pulls hard and solid, much better than before. really presses me nicely into the perfect butt section of my sargent seat. i felt like the guy from Tron on the parkway. just works SO MUCH BETTER. highly recommend  [thumbsup] [thumbsup]

and boy does it look sweet -- had to literally bake it in the oven to get the push pin bearing to drop in but well worth it:

looks so good i DON'T want to hide it behind the iron cross clutch cover i just got last week:

maybe i can get the magnesium engine cover and speedymoto guard that BlackKat put on his Il Mostro 1080...

I think you must be doing it wrong.

and you could market that iron cross thingy as birth control.

Keep an eye on ebay for a wrecked Hyper 1100...there's your mag covers. I think they were @$1700.00 for the pair from NCR if that gives you a frame of reference. Ducati did have them on sale recently, but they might be gone..I'll look today. I have to go in a meet a customer who's dropping his bike off.

The Speedymoto Sellwood cover has be discontinued, but I think Randy and Lyle from Bellissimoto still have a couple! Call them if you're in love with that cover!

i think it makes my bike look more böse [evil] plus i lived, studied and worked in D-land for almost a decade and am a member of a Prussian Corps -- the iron cross was originally given as a medal of honor by Kaiser Friedrich Wilhelm II of Prussia:

That Iron Cross on a Ducati is just wrong on so many levels.

Just my opinion, though. Your milage may vary.
