Any of you DoD types want to do the advanced cornering clinic at Quantico this month? I was hoping to take pictures of riders to help them with their technique in exchange for the same. I like to think of it as a track day without all the boring straights. ;D
Does this apply to DoD civilians? Can you provide where I can get more info? I'll be interested if I qualify.

DoD civilians can sign up. Here's the link: http://www.quantico.usmc.mil/OPM/Default.aspx?m=QCA&p=cd&c=81 (http://www.quantico.usmc.mil/OPM/Default.aspx?m=QCA&p=cd&c=81)
Joe, just man up, buy a track bike this winter, prep it and race WERA with Steve and I next year. The ACC is fun to a degree..we need more racers in here. Hell if I find the right bike I may sell the 03 ZX6R...WERA ready, put gas in it and go.

October / November deals will be bountiful...guys selling their old bikes for new ones to prep over the winter, ect. Now you get guys who bought and are broke mid-season and need to liquidate..often a good deal comes around and we need to jump on it. I got another 07 Kawi ZX6R for 900.00 with 4k miles, but have to go to Georgia to get it.
Nothing for contractors, though. At least I can join the Quantico Shooting Club.
Shooting club what?

They run an F-Class shoot there. Plus the skeet/trap and sometimes USPSA matches.
