Title: how do you fix the broken hi-beam button? Post by: seanster on July 12, 2012, 06:07:11 AM Hi my bike is 2000 M750 and the hi-beam button isn't working.
This happen before, then I took it apart, bended the little bronze tab inside the switch to get contact. Did the same this time but it's not working. Any thoughts? Thanks! Post by: seanster on July 12, 2012, 09:38:41 AM wire brush the contacts? check the wiring, does the high beam switch work? wires are solid good...the switch is good. it seems like there is no contact when I push the button to hold it at hi-beam. Bending the bronze tab wouldn't do it this time around. Title: Re: how do you fix the broken hi-beam button? Post by: wannabfast on July 12, 2012, 11:36:34 AM is there grounding going on on the bars?

Get a multi-meter and start testing things. Title: Re: how do you fix the broken hi-beam button? Post by: DownwtheQuickness on July 18, 2012, 07:50:16 PM I love it when someone else has the same problem with their bike and gets help before I even have to ask!
Also thankful for all the crusty experienced guys on here with the time, tools, and know-how to help with my lack of all three. |
