So I thought I might do some riding while I'm here.  Any suggestions?

Alternatively I can also test ride your bike and provide an unbiased assesment - no charge  ;)

Yeah I'm from Austin. 

just want to ride for a day at most, so not looking to drop more than, say, 150. 

as I'm finding out though there's plenty to do otherwise so no biggie if it doesn't happen  ;)

yeah I figured out some things about west holly pretty quick  [roll]  probably when I noticed the variety of adult films available at a liquor store register  [laugh] (might notice I went back and changed the post title  8))

but I'll be out and about in the car anyway so I can pretty much get to anywhere in reason.

..there is a bike rental on lincoln  blvd in santa monica....sprtbikerentals (i think) and also the Harley Davidson place (on lincoln too) rents "motorcycles"...

...on the site it says $225...but when i called at around 15:00 the girl said $199 so....you can tell her you were me and that she quoted the 1098 at $199  ;D

FYI, I think the deposit for the 1098 is $3k and does *not* limit your liability.
