What size axle does the 02 s4 come with? Found the answer 25mm :'(
Looking at wheels for my 98 M900...wont work

I think you can just swap in appropriately sized bearings. Not 100%, but pretty sure.
I just measured my front axle...on the LH side, with digital calipers 17mm...while on the bike, can that be!!!?

The axle on my 96 is 17 mm.
The shoulder on the right side is 20 mm

The smaller ID bearings are also thinner. You'd need spacers to make up the difference.

So...new bearing's and spacer's & a 25mm front wheel would work?
Anyone here done this?

Thanks for everyone's advice/opinion's!!! [thumbsup]
I want new wheels for the M900....but not willing to get a whole new front end to achieve it.
After looking on ebay....at 749-999 wheels...they seem to be at good pricing...is the rear a direct bolt on?

Those wheels won't work with your rotors or calipers.
749/999 use 5 bolt rotors with a different offset.
S__T!!!!!
Thanks
