Title: How BP's sidecar was built
Post by: Randimus Maximus on July 14, 2012, 04:13:54 PM
I was hoping for more of a "How it's Made" type video when I saw the subject on autoblog.com, but I guess this is good enough.

I thought, "that guy needs a BFH" a few times whilst watching the vid.  ;D

I have seen welding gloves, never welding mittens

What was he using for a hammer? It looked like a pneumatic cutoff wheel

And I still want a Ural so freaking bad!

Looked to me like a hammer with a scotchbrite mounted to the back. Which, when working with sheet metal, could come in very handy.

Ah, yep, I see it now.

As one of the geezers at work told me "the right tool for the job is the tool that gets the job done right."
