Title: Re: Katie's Car's and Coffee Post by: TitanMonsterS4R on December 21, 2012, 07:01:37 PM Ill be there tomorrow morning. How's the turn out been? Been meaning to make it back but the weather has been bitter cold to ride the Duc out Title: Re: Katie's Car's and Coffee Post by: rgramjet on December 21, 2012, 07:24:32 PM My kids are hooked! Its been a consistently good showing! There was a 1929 Bentley in amazing condition there last week. Also a sick flat black supercharged ZO6.
Never know what yer gonna see. Title: Re: Katie's Car's and Coffee Post by: Slide Panda on December 22, 2012, 02:15:32 PM That rat rod older Chevy pickup been around? If so get a look under the hood

Title: Re: Katie's Car's and Coffee Post by: rgramjet on April 20, 2013, 08:11:11 PM Last Saturday, Veyron.
Owner was super cool and patient. Waited for everyone to finish taking pics before taking off. Title: Re: Katie's Car's and Coffee Post by: TitanMonsterS4R on April 20, 2013, 08:28:27 PM Was super pissed I missed the Veyron. Saw the pics on one of the car forums. Will be back for first 2013 showing this coming weekend if weather is good.
Title: Re: Katie's Car's and Coffee Post by: Statler on April 23, 2013, 11:28:46 AM I've been meaning to take the car down this Spring. This weekend's out due to the music gig Sunday (people should come out even if raining).
I'll post up before a Katie's Saturday. Didn't know folks here went. Title: Re: Katie's Car's and Coffee Post by: rgramjet on April 23, 2013, 04:38:52 PM My kids love it! So does my wife.......she gets to sleep in!
Title: Re: Katie's Car's and Coffee Post by: zooom on April 24, 2013, 07:38:11 AM how does the Katie's event compare to the McLean event?
Title: Re: Katie's Car's and Coffee Post by: Slide Panda on April 24, 2013, 09:08:58 AM Aren't they the same?
Title: Re: Katie's Car's and Coffee Post by: zooom on April 24, 2013, 09:27:22 AM I knew Statler went out to some Saturday Coffee event near Annapolis which is what I thought THIS thread was refferring to....
Title: Re: Katie's Car's and Coffee Post by: Slide Panda on April 24, 2013, 09:43:12 AM katies is the one down in McLean/Great Falls
Title: Re: Katie's Car's and Coffee Post by: Statler on April 25, 2013, 08:02:13 AM Saturdays the choice is Great Falls (where I haven't been with the car) or Hunt Valley (which is getting big. Used to be about 30 cars and now has over 800).
Sundays is Annapolis city dock. Small group. Maybe 20 when the weather is nice. This Sunday (4/28) is Annapolis and then lunch at Mothers. Hoping for at least a dozen cars. Live music. Other thread. Title: Re: Katie's Car's and Coffee Post by: dolci on April 25, 2013, 09:13:56 AM This Sunday (4/28) is Annapolis and then lunch at Mothers. Hoping for at least a dozen cars. Live music. Other thread. Looks like the weather should be good so Sophia and I should be there! Katies Cars and Coffee Sickness! Title: Re: Katie's Car's and Coffee Post by: rgramjet on May 03, 2013, 04:44:01 PM I'll be there between 7:30-8:00. Anyone else?
Title: Re: Katie's Car's and Coffee Post by: TitanMonsterS4R on May 17, 2013, 01:08:07 PM anyone headed over tomorrow?
Title: Re: Katie's Car's and Coffee Post by: 1stduc on June 12, 2013, 08:40:36 AM last weekend was kind of a bust, not too many cars out on display. More than the usual number of bikes though. I saw a red monster with saddlebags...guess I should have posted in the sighting section.
Title: Re: Katie's Car's and Coffee Post by: TitanMonsterS4R on June 13, 2013, 12:58:48 PM I didn't make it with the Duc since the thought of rain was enough to scare me off and it seems a fair amount of cars as well. Headed out there on Saturday since weather should be balmy then ride some of the backroads
Title: Re: Katie's Car's and Coffee Post by: Slide Panda on June 14, 2013, 05:13:54 AM 800 HP Supercharged Corvette Z06 GT2 Widebody Kit by LOMA Couple times Iv'e been - that's about the least interesting ride there. Some really interesting stuff appears there. Title: Re: Katie's Car's and Coffee Post by: rgramjet on June 14, 2013, 07:33:00 AM LOL you obviously haven't heard it run.
There was a Mclaren there two weeks ago, I've seen the Veyron, Carerra GT and handfuls of Lambos. All cool. Even if its not your cup of tea, its far from "the least interesting ride there"......unless one is big into volvos. ;D There was a pristine Lincoln Town Car convertible from the 40's (I think) a couple weeks ago. Incredible! Title: Re: Katie's Car's and Coffee Post by: Slide Panda on June 14, 2013, 08:59:20 AM LOL you obviously haven't heard it run. No, but I have heard that rot-rod pickup that shows from time to time. Tatty paint, older PU that is nuts under the hood. Super charged, 454 (I think) with nitrous. Might have had a turbo hidden in there too Title: Re: Katie's Car's and Coffee Post by: rgramjet on June 14, 2013, 11:19:04 AM When you hear everything that's going on with the Z-06, I can almost promise you'll change yer tune. I'm not a big Corvette guy but that thing stirred me.
Title: Re: Katie's Car's and Coffee Post by: ducati culture on June 14, 2013, 12:18:49 PM secretly they all want a fast duc........... [Dolph]
Title: Re: Katie's Car's and Coffee Post by: tocino on June 15, 2013, 08:20:33 AM secretly they all want a fast duc........... [Dolph] Hahaha. Serious. They're overcompensating with those 2 extra wheels and multiple cylinders! ;D Title: Re: Katie's Car's and Coffee Post by: 1stduc on June 17, 2013, 07:48:17 AM I saw a really nice alfa romeo roadster this past weekend, the owner did it up on that car. That rat truck is pretty cool, comes complete with squirrel tail.
Title: Re: Katie's Car's and Coffee Post by: 1stduc on June 20, 2013, 07:53:41 AM Anyone headed there this Saturday?
Title: Re: Katie's Car's and Coffee Post by: twolanefun on June 20, 2013, 08:57:59 AM Maybe, might take the Paso out for a spin, hasn't been ridden in a couple of weeks. - Gene
Title: Re: Katie's Car's and Coffee Post by: TitanMonsterS4R on June 20, 2013, 04:10:55 PM was there last week Ducless. Will be there with Duc and friend trying to sell his Dad's 911.
Title: Re: Katie's Car's and Coffee Post by: rgramjet on June 20, 2013, 04:38:36 PM I'm sure I will be there, gaggle in tow.
Title: Re: Katie's Car's and Coffee Post by: rgramjet on June 28, 2013, 04:18:11 PM Tomorrow? Anyone else? Ill be the dude with way too many kids around me with a hapless expression......say hi.
Title: Re: Katie's Car's and Coffee Post by: TitanMonsterS4R on June 29, 2013, 05:22:15 PM Rode out with a buddy who is selling his dads Porsche for him and he almost got nabbed by Moco cops for doing 100+ on 495, would have made for a short morning.
Missed chatting with you rgramjet, saw you and the kiddies lookin at the S4R but I was a bit to far away. Lotsa Tesla's of late. Really liked the Austin and the Lotus. I am the perfect size for that car. Title: Re: Katie's Car's and Coffee Post by: rgramjet on June 29, 2013, 07:41:05 PM That s4r is just right! Love the belt covers. The white Panigale S was very nice.
Wasnt as crowded as I thought it would be for such a perfect morning. The dude with the burgundy Tesla was cool. He let the kiddos have a turn sitting in the rear jump seats. Title: Re: Katie's Car's and Coffee Post by: TitanMonsterS4R on July 01, 2013, 02:21:03 AM That s4r is just right! Love the belt covers. Thanks. I still have a bit of work to do with those. The lower cover has a piece of plexiglass missing. Trying to see if I can get red glass and then recut pieces to fit right. Just fitted some CycleCat rearsets same day after C&C. Title: Re: Katie's Car's and Coffee Post by: TitanMonsterS4R on August 02, 2013, 07:10:46 AM anyone headed out there tomorrow AM?

Title: Re: Katie's Car's and Coffee Post by: rgramjet on August 02, 2013, 08:08:00 PM Kiddos want to go.....Im in!
Title: Re: Katie's Car's and Coffee Post by: TitanMonsterS4R on August 03, 2013, 07:09:46 AM Kiddos want to go.....Im in! Was there for about 40 minutes. Did you see that old beater with the crazy engine inside? Was parked down the lot by the Porsche's. There was a nice assortment of cars/bikes; always happy to see bikers attend but not overrun the joint. The triumph dealer that showed was interesting as well. Spent a bit chatting with him about the Street Triple R. It's growing on me. Title: Re: Katie's Car's and Coffee Post by: Statler on August 25, 2014, 08:49:57 AM two aventadors at Annapolis cars and coffee last week. Now that I'm South of Baltimore we'll be taking the Mondial down there more often.
Title: Re: Katie's Car's and Coffee Post by: rgramjet on August 25, 2014, 06:25:36 PM I'm a little bit bored with the supercars. Here's another rich dude walking around in his flashy Lamborghini or Ferrari jacket. Yay.
Give me a ratty 1960 Cadillac with a supercharged Cummins turbo diesel, hydraulics and a bud light beer tap handle for a shifter and I'm captivated! There is also a 50's vintage short bed rat truck powered by a 427 short block and artistically welded rebar for fender trim that is too cool. Last Saturday there was a McLaren MP4-12C Spyder that had one of the most amazing paint jobs I've ever seen. Maybe I'm getting jaded.... PS the only reason I knew the model number of the McLaren is my 12 year old son told me. Title: Re: Katie's Car's and Coffee Post by: rgramjet on August 25, 2014, 06:45:15 PM Dammit.
