Title: saying goodbye to my monster Post by: tristantumble on July 24, 2012, 09:54:01 AM hi team.
after 5 years of owning my m695, im moving onto a sport classic (biposto). i love my monster, but i cant keep two bikes...so with a heavy heart i have to let her go. I am however looking forward to the power increase of the SC and having a new blank slate to start customizing. i guess i'll be spending less time here, but i want to thank the members here for all the great info/advice i've gotten over the years. ride safe. tt. He has done a ton of mods to his including wheels and brakes off an ST3 or ST4 but he has also had the tank expansion issue. He coated the inside of his tank and it seems to be okay for now.
His bike looks really cool and he gets way more comments on it than I do on mine. Title: Re: saying goodbye to my monster Post by: bevel on July 24, 2012, 12:30:09 PM I don't even own a Duc and they haven't kicked me out yet, at least you'd still be in the Italian family [thumbsup]

Make sure you post pics when you get it. Congrats! Title: Re: saying goodbye to my monster Post by: teddy037.3 on July 25, 2012, 01:08:02 PM no reason to leave the forums... a lot of the parts/tech are similar, if not identical.
a good number of the folks here are monsterless anyway (myself included) Title: Re: saying goodbye to my monster Post by: Slide Panda on July 26, 2012, 08:07:30 AM Yeah. plenty of folks without Monsters or even Ducs on here. And as said the SC share a lot with the monsters - so no need for good byes

Title: Re: saying goodbye to my monster Post by: seanster on July 26, 2012, 10:14:07 AM after all you still owing a Duc aren't you? or heck you still on two wheels...I love the info I received from the forum and very good source of knowledge around the world.
Congrats on your new purchase! [thumbsup] I will eventually go the route you're taking my friend...but the monster came to stay though. +1 on pics when you have a chance. Title: Re: saying goodbye to my monster Post by: tristantumble on July 30, 2012, 08:58:08 AM hi guys,
finally brought the SC home last night, you can really see how the close family ties to the monster line. I was nervous about the aggressive forward seating position, but after a half hour ride i didn't feel any discomfort. But the low clip on bars really are confidence inspiring in the corners. a pic of the brothers before monster finds a new family.
