Very cool.  Is that a 900SS?  Cus it looks like one of the old carbies.

It's a mid-90s 600SS.

Got it right from what I've read.

I wonder which the front tire hits first, the head or the triple.  :P

It's a mid-90s 600SS.

That makes sense now that I looked at the engine.  I just glanced at work and saw the frame/swinger/tank.  Cool bike anyhow. [beer]

With that RoadRacing engine cowl...those Italians use that bike  to plow the fields. [beer]

the chin fairing is actually a DP part, not Road Racing.  ;)  They made a matching seat cowl, front fender and fairing.

That RoadRacing chin spoiler doesn't fit.

Agreed.  It's pretty cool, otherwise.

I really like it.

I actually think the SS frame and the tank make for really good looking standard motorcycle, with the right seat.

I've been on the fence about whether to buy a Streetfighter or pick up a 900SS strip it down and make my own SF. I've seen some really nice naked 900SS and honesty I'm not 100% sold on the Streetfighter headlight but I wouldnt mind having all the latest state of the art components either. Not to mention the SF 1100 is one of the last of the Dry Clutches!  :'(

Why are there two rear tires?

I can maaaaaaaybe see 'why', but so many things not thought through on a scrambler style bike.  Makes me wonder what it would have looked like with a properly set up 19", ample travel and a narrow front wheel.
