Title: '06 S2R 800 TPS reading at full throttle?
Post by: TwIsTeD on August 17, 2012, 12:31:37 PM
Does anyone out there know what the tps reading would be at w. o. t. On a s2r 800. I know it's 2.7 degrees at idle. I cant find the wot reading anywhere. I just want to make sure I'm getting full thottle and the butterflies are set right. Thank you.

I don't believe there is a specific full throttle spec.

all engines that have a tps have a specific setting for closed throttle, and a very vague broad range for wot. mainly because it needs to know very accurate readings at idle and closed throttle and very small throttle openings, and it needs to know when throttle is opening or closing and by what rough amount to determine tip-in enrichment/retard, but typically anything over 75% doesn't matter much at all.

as long as closed throttle is within spec, and it has a gradual increase consistently with throttle movement, then thats all that matters
